According to Section 2 (59) of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act (DMC), 1957, enterprises must get an MCD Health Trade License in order to engage in trade, manufacturing, storage, restaurant, and food supply activities. MCD Health Trade License Delhi is a requirement for any trader, manufacturer, or restaurant owner who wishes to work in the state of Delhi, failing which a heavy penalty will be imposed, and the business premises may be seized or closed in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). MCD Health Trade License Delhi also ensures to the citizens of the state that the business location is clean, that MCD rules and regulations are obeyed, and that trade activities are regulated and monitored.
The businesses are required to have an MCD Trade License and an MCD Health Trade License in order to avoid penalties under the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957.

VALIDITY OF MCD HEALTH TRADE LICENSE
According to the norms and regulations of the Delhi Municipal Corporation, a first time applicant can only apply for a one-year mcd trade license. After one year, the candidate can apply for a trade license renewal for up to five years.
