LIQUOR LICENSE TYPES

L-1: L-1 license granted for the purpose of wholesale distribution of Indian liquor.
L-3/L-5: Grant of L-3/L-5 License - For Hotels: An L-3 license allows a hotel to serve foreign liquor to its guests in their rooms.
L-19: Grant of L-19 License - For Clubs: L-19 can be awarded to a club that is registered with the Registrar of Firms/Registrar of Cooperative Societies for the purpose of allowing its members to purchase foreign liquor.
L-49A: Grant of L-49A license - Marriages, Parties, etc. For a fee of Rs. 3,000/-, this license can be obtained for selling liquor at any party, function, marriage, etc. at a specific location anywhere in Delhi.

Operating a bar necessitates the acquisition of a Bar License. As a result, before applying for a Bar License, form a corporation and apply for the license in the firm's name. If necessary, this will link the Bar   License to a business and allow it to be transferred to another individual in the future.
You must also apply for a liquor license before purchasing an existing bar or starting the foundation to open one. It is tough to obtain a liquor license, and there is no assurance that you will receive one at all at the end of the day. As a result, you must wait, form a corporation or an LLP, and complete your licensing application.

VALIDITY OF BAR LICENSE
The license is valid for one year and can be renewed annually by filling out a renewal application form and paying the renewal cost to the appropriate authority.
